Shan Ni People

Shan Ni ( Tai Liam people) is a kind of Shan people and They live widely in the region of Kawlin,Htee Gyeik, Ban Mok, Kalay, Tamu ,Moe Nyin,Moe Kaung,Indawgyi, Myitkyina, Wainmao, Sinbo ,Ta Lao,Hopin ,Homemalin and Thaung Thuwt.They still speak the Shan language.It is very close to Burmese culture.In the past, they had their own literature, and the history of Indawgy, etc., were written in the Shanni language.Ethnically, the Shanni language has become less spoken, and the ethnic group has almost disappeared.Most of lands have Shan names where Burmese accent are coming from time to time.
