Mann Creek is a tributary of the Irrawaddy River. It is 78 miles long and was called Namda River in ancient times. The river originates in Rakhine Roema Mountain, southwest of Ngafe Township, Minbu District, flows eastward, passes through Minbu District, and flows into the Irrawaddy River about 5 miles above Minbu.It flows from the mountain, and when it reaches the village of the dam, it comes to a flat land. In that area, the river basin is about one mile wide and 7 miles at the point where it meets the Irrawaddy River. It is about 8 miles wide. The bottom of Mann Creek is thick gravel. The water flows continuously throughout the year.However, in summer, the water is very low. During the summer, boats cannot travel along Mann Creek. In the rainy season, it is possible to travel up to Ima. Mann River has been used mainly for supplying water for agriculture since the dam. The distance from the dam to the confluence of the Irrawaddy River is 20 miles. The hill where Set Taw Yar Pagoda is located in Minbu District is located on the bank of Min River. Therefore, Shwe Settaw is called Mann Shwe Set Taw Yar, and Mann Creek is prominent.
